INVITED FOREIGN DELEGATIONS

Invitations to visit Hemus 2022 with official delegations had been addressed to 68 countries, as well as representatives of NATO, EU, European Defense Agency and others. (attached below).

The exhibition was attended by 18 foreign delegations, guests of the Minister of Defense: Bosnia and Herzegovina (Minister of Defense), Iraq (Minister of Defense and Accredited Ambassador), Iraq (Iraqi Defense Industry Commission), Rwanda (Minister of Defense), Republic of North Macedonia (Deputy Minister of Defense), Egypt (Accredited Ambassador and Defense Attaché), Croatia (National Armaments Director), Spain (National Armaments Director and Defense Attaché), Pakistan (Military Delegation), Poland (Chief Office of the National Armaments Director and Defense Attaché), Romania (MoD delegation), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Deputy Minister of Defense and Military Delegation, Defense Attaché), Greece (MoD Military Delegation), France (Military Delegation of the MoD and Defense Attaché), Germany (Defense Attaché), USA (Senior MoD Representative, Assistant Chief of Staff of the US Air Force in Europe and Africa), European Defense Agency (Deputy Director of the Research, Technology and Innovation Directorate), NATO NSPA Agency.

The participation of foreign delegations, representatives and national armaments directors, as well as the level of representation overcomes the negative downward trend in the period 2012 - 2018, and since 2020 marks an increase, which in 2022 increased by 20% compared to the previous edition.

Along with the official delegations, Hemus 2022 had visitors from 45 countries in Europe, North and South America, Australia, Africa and Asia. A number of countries were presented as visitors by their defense attachés accredited in Sofia.
