The discussion is part of the Hemus 2020 program (‘Day Zero Discussion’) and is dedicated to "Future of Defence: NATO Technological Innovation for Guarding Peace and Security".
It is organized jointly by the ‘Hemus-95’ Foundation and the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria and will be held from 15:00 on September 29-th at the Press Club of the International Fair Plovdiv.
The event aims to discuss the Alliance's technological future and cooperation between NATO member states in the field of new technologies, information and communication security, as well as the main security challenges in the digital world.
The Bulgarian Chief of Defence, Admiral Emil Eftimov will be the Keynote Speaker. Representatives of the Bulgarian institutions, technology companies and companies from the Defence Industry will take part in the discussion.
It is intended for servicepersons, representatives of Bulgarian security institutions (Ministry of Interior, State Agency for National Security, State Agency for E-Governing), high-tech companies, experts in the field of cybersecurity, Defence Industry companies, representatives of academia and higher education.
